Well better late than never.
Malmoe shooting club was hosting this year’s Swedish Championship and it was also the first level III match for Malmoe in a long time.
And what a match, the stage was the best stage in Sweden also for a long time, 11 stage 250 rounds.
I was working as IROA CRO on stage 9 long jungle course, 32 round´s stage.
I arrive Friday morning 8am after driving around looking for the shooting range spillepengen, and it’s not new, I always do that I can never find that place.
The first shot could start around 9am, BUT BUT, we have ore the Malmoe shooter had to build the stage finish first, and then we have to check all the stage first before we can shoot, some small change and we start up after lunch around 1pm.
I was in squad with Lars Hagemann he had to shoot pre-match because he had to go for the USPSA National and he have to leave Sunday.
It was a long day we finish the pre- match 8:45 pm, and my performance with new ammo was so and so I had two stage with new ammo fault, so the last two stage I change back to my old ammo.
I finish with 58,05 %
Later on the evening I catch up with Anders Buchwald one of our IROA,he work on stage two, the worst stage he ever had on his long career as IROA he had a stage with mouse trap and a swinger with the wire and it’s just make problem for the whole match.
On the main match we had around 200 shooter from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Czech and Peter Heller from Switzerland he drive all the way to Sweden and got second place in Production.
In the whole mach we had 18 DQ that was to much, but even you point out the safety angel, some shooter still don’t remember, when the bib sound the brain stop J
I forgot my camera, so no pickture, sorry about that.
I have been busy on my job, so its a short report, but I can say it was the best match in Sweden.
