STI EURO OPEN 2009

I left Copenhagen 10am together with a friend for going to Philippsburg I Germany 925 km from Denmark for the STI open match, it took us 10 in half hours to drive only with few stop, we took the boat for 45 min had a nice steak, and after the border shop to buy cheap beer and red bull we drive almost nonstop to Philippsburg. We arrive at the hotel 8:30 pm got a pizza and then for a good sleep.

Friday morning I wake up 5.30 am got a breakfast and went to the range time for the prematch 18 stage 380 round.

This was my 3 time for the STI Open and how was it, this year’s STI they have some very interested stage, lot of running back and start shooting, lot of steel some mechanical shit which was shit, and I mean if you have to make this kind of stuff it have to work perfect for the whole match if not don't use it, but beside this and some popper problem it was fun good stage design thanks to the Nederland IROA team for building this, I had some very fuck up stage but it was my fault. Stage 18 was a very nice stage. You start loaded hand holster with only one magazine, the other magazine was placed on a blue barrel in the middle of the stage, so if you fuck up your plan ore lose your magazine you have to run for more than 20 meter to get your magazine, and get back again it will cost you more than 20-30 sec. but it was fun.  

We finish around 6:30 pm went to the beautiful town of Philippsburg got some Thai food, then home for another good sleep ready for the first working day tomorrow.

MY STAGE 15

Well the first day of the main match, I was ready on my stage 15 on 7:30 am Medium course 16 rounds 6 ipsc target, 4 plate and 2 NO shoot. FOFS

first shot on 8 am and our fourth squad was squad 15 the French team and Eric Grauffel, Emile and Thierry Obriot, I really enjoy to see them shooting and yes special Eric he also had the fast time on my stage 10,90 16 A.

I was not long I think after the first squad we was 30 minute ahead of schedule and after the first 3 squad 1 hour I like that, I had one German NROI Ralf?? and his wife and son the first day and Ralf and another NROI the second day and they work very well and we did not have any problem what so ever, only with some open shooter and theirs magazines, if I really want to I could have taken around 20 shooter with to long magazine I took 4 shooter over this two days and they got shock when I show my measure and it was 1-4 mm to long. I really shock to see so many people with those magazines and as I told Eric way they don’t measure they own magazine before they go to bigger match, next time I get you all J J
