Hans "Putte" Sären, multiple Swedish champions
Died on 22/5-08 after a short period of illness.
Putte was one of the pioneers of practical shooting. He was with from the beginning and shaped the shooting, which we now call dynamic shooting. Putte was for many years both a board member of our union and in Gothenburg Dynamic shooter.
Gothenburg Dynamic shooter desire every year Gothenburg Open will from now on have the name Gothenburg Open Putte memorial.
And that’s way we have to go there.
I left Copenhagen 06:30 Saturday morning, together with Tim Andersen and Mark Weisinger and we arrive 11 am in Gothenburg. We are shooting the Prematch, on the Gothenburg Open, Level III, Putte Memorial match and we start on stage 9 11:45 am we had to shoot 9 stage and we finish 17:00 pm it was some god stages I did a ok good match no miss and no no shoot.

So after a long day with a nice sunny weather we had lunch burger break
There was 89 shooter sign up to the match around 68 for the main match.
We start Sunday morning first shoot 08:30.
I was working as Area CRO for stage 1,2,3 and 4. Tim Area CRO for stage 5,6,7,8 and 9. Mark was working on stage 8.
And my first squad on stage 4 was a Danish squad with our new comming topshooter Christian Thomsen and his team from Jutland. Christian is a shooter there turn up this year and got his 2th PM shooting minor and its second time his winning over major shooter.

Team Capsicum did a good match, if you look away from Mats Báckstróm he got some small problem, and Peter Schieck he brock his extractor, got a new one and finish 82,61 % very good performance
All the squad was very find and easy, no major problem with stage. MD Bjarne Larning had done a very good job with his team. I think the stage was some of the best stage I had shoot in Gothenburg for a long time.
The shooter had to shoot 7 stage before lunch and 2 after lunch
We finish Sunday around 4pm and short time after we start the prize awarding.
