Quickborn Match 2008

Saturday and Sunday Marts 29 to 30 it was time for match in Schleswig-holstein Quickborn and this is something, its 450 km from Denmark and I have been there already many times, and it’s an indoor range, with 2 range of 25 meter 1 range of 50 meter what we not are using and then the Siberian range the 100 meter cold range. This time there was 8 stage, they will will shoot 3 stage then lunch, then a small rebuild, then shoot 3 stage, then rebuild on the 2 x 25 meter range and shoot 2 stage. This time there was 4 squad 97 shooter. Well I left Copenhagen Friday 11:30 am driving alone to Quickborn in Germany, the trip is about 5 hours driving, I had 2 stop to get some food and drinks on my way down there. I arrive around 6 PM and just tjeck in at the Etab hotel, the I drive to the shooting range, it´s about 10 min. driving from the hotel, when I got to the Range they already finish building the stages, so I when to Mc Donald’s to get some good food hihi.

Day 2.

Wake up 6 am, got my breakfast, and went to the Range, first shoot is 08:30 am, I was placed in the Siberian aria the cold 100 meter range, a long course, 32 rounds, 14 classictarget and 4 poppers. Everything went very nice; I only got 1 DQ ad. Second stage today also long course, 30 rounds 14 target and 2 poppers. We are so fast in our range so we already got 2 squad for tomorrow, so only 2 left and we are done.

Day 3.

Start again 08:30 and we are ready for the last 2 squad, and the first is the Danish squad with Mats Bäckström, Frants Petersen, Lars Hagemann, Peter Scheik, David Philip, Klaus Fristrup and KB Svensen, and they all did it good. Shooting was finish around 1 pm, the a long wait for the award ceremony, i left the range 3pm going back to Denmark, and it took me only 4½ hours to drive back.
