January 16

DAY 3

Today was the first day as RO for the match, and it will go on for the nexst 3 days. Today we start on the range at 8am, singing the philippines national song, the we had to lift our right hand and swore to the Range Officer's creed. After that we can start, Im working in stage 20 togheter CRO Bot, Nroi Mark, and my caddie Roy Ledesma. We had only a small problem in the start, the stage is a long course, 6 half classictarget and 2 swinger with full size target, 3 PP and 4 small plate, 23 rounds 115 point, the swinger was a problem in the starting, and one of the plate, but after 6 shooter everythink was ok. Here in the Philippines they dont put shooter in squad, they can just go around and shoot ummm, we had 76 shooter today, so by tomorrow there will came so many shooter, and this time its not only Philipino shooter there is a big group from Canada also.

Day 4

Today we was on the range 7:30 am and first shoot around 8:30, it start out with heavy rains so we have to put plastic on our target, so when the first shooter was on the line rains stop. Today was a good day our stage run very good with out big problems. We got some of the best Filipino shooter like Lyndon Biraogo ho started in standard, then went to Modified then open and now is back again in standard and now he fill home again and Jethro Dionisio ho was former world champion in Open, today he shoot single stack. Today we had 93 shooter and only one DQ finger in trigger. There is also a big group from Canada around 40 shooter, so im not the only white man this year. Day 5

Today we also started 8:30 am on the range, and we did 105 shooter tru the day. It was also the day we had the great team from True Waight with Mary Grace Tan the open Laidy World Champion in South Africa , he Father Ronald Tan was also there he was not shooting in this match. but to se those shooter nice nice shooting. Our stage have just a small problem for many shooter, they can see some of the plate and popper from different places, so many shooter think there is 24 round and not 23 rounds, it was very fun to watch.

Day 6

The last day, and we are very tired, we got the last 42 shooter, and one of them was Kenneth Augustin a Junior shooter I have been watching over the past year, Kenneth is now 16 years old and still going stong , Mery Grace Tan shot my stage in 18.18 and Kenneth did it in 16 ore 17 sec.We got finish 12 o clock lunch time, and the shoot off started at 3:30 pm but before that I went down in stage 24 the long stage 32 rounds with the brige and watch Mery Grace and Jethro Dionisio shoot the stage Mery grace shot that stage in 24 sec. with 3 C and Jethro 39 with 6 C and 1 D with his single stack. Then it was time to shoot off. Shooter standing in front of the table, all amo in the box, and first magazine on table, on signal, take your amo and fill up your magazine and shoot round plate and one popper. The winner in each divisions have to shoot against Jethro, and Jethro only lost in the open divisions.Well it was time to go home and get ready for the awarding night, and it was very special, there was a big food buffet with so many different food and there was a big show before the awarding with dancing and the local Dinagyang dancers.

So all in all it have been a very good week with more than 400 shooter, from Canada, Australia, USA, China, Singapore, and Kodu from Japan. and me from Denmark.

I would like to thanks the Ro on my stage CRO Bot Ramos, NROI Mark Tiu, The helper Kit Kalbo and my good friend Roy Ledesma with out my caddie I could not I would like to say thank you for letting me as IROA working in this match, its was a very good match, 6 very hard days work in sun, rain and mud, but its was fun, the new shooting range is a nice place an old rice field, work out to be a great shooting range with 24 stages.See you hopefully next year.
