As a new member of IROA this match was the big on for me, and I was much exited, I took the airplane 7am after only have been sleeping for 1½ hours. I arrive 8pm in Frankfurt. Dick Seger IROA guy from Holland pick me up and 1 hour later I arrive on the range in Philippsburg. The prematch was already started, I did not bring my gun with me this time, because I did not know how long the range was from the airport and bla bla bla, I will bring next time, because they have very nice 16 stages down there. Well Dick and I went to stage 14 to run that for the preematch a Medium Course with, 14 rounds, and 70 point. 7 Classictarget. you have to be inside the cage at all time when shooting, we finish around 7pm went for a quick drive to the hotel for a shower, and then for a dinner a Chinese restaurant a good one, lots of food, and then home for sleeping I was very tired. Next morning up a 6 am we have to be on the range 7:30 am. I when to Stage 6 that was my stage together with IROA Thomas Sturm, RO Sandra Freimüller and RO Georg Gonglach. Stage 6 was a long Course, 21 rounds, 105 points and Comstock, with 9 Classictarget, 3 classic poppers and some No shoot. Distance 5 to 25 meters. On signal FOFS
It was also my first time to run Eric Grauffel WOW what a nice young and fast shooter, to see Eric how he prepare the stage before he will shoot, that is something, and when he is shooting first you think he is slow, but when you then look on the timer WOW what happened here. Hope to see Eric around again.
Yael Dagon is a lady shooter from Israel, I know he for some years, a very good shooter, she told me how she prepare for a match, before and also on the match, and I think you will see a much better Yeal on the next worldshoot, I wish he all the best in the future.
